POLIPROPILEN

Polypropylene, PP, is a common thermoplastic polymer in the plastics industry. It is produced from propylene monomers and is characterised by a wide range of applications and beneficial properties (such as lightweight, high heat resistance and recyclability). As a result, polypropylene is is used in packaging, textiles, automotive parts, medical devices, etc. In fact, it is one of the most widely used plastics in the world.

LDPE

LDPE stands for "low density polyethylene" and is one of the thermoplastics in the polyethylene family. It is a widely used plastic with the specific properties of low density, robustness, durability and good insulating properties. LDPE is used in a wide range of applications: for example, as packaging films, plastic bags, bottles, containers, pipes or toys. It is also used for tarpaulins and gaskets and as an insulating material.

HDPE

HDPE stands for "high-density polyethylene", a thermoplastic polymer belonging to the polyethylene group. Unlike LDPE (low-density polyethylene), HDPE has a higher density and some special properties: it is characterised by its high density, temperature and chemical resistance. HDPE is used in many industries including pipes, containers, bottles, plastic toys, plastic furniture, and tarpaulins and concrete formwork. It is also used to make rubbish bags - to mention just a few examples.

PP/PE

PP/PE means a combination of two different plastics, namely polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE). This combination can occur in different contexts. In particular, this plastic is often used as a packaging material.

PPC

Polypropylene copolymers are plastics made from polypropylene. This specific plastic has good mechanical properties and is also characterised by high impact resistance and excellent resistance to many chemicals. It is widely used in many areas, especially where these properties are in demand - for example, in the automotive industry for bumpers and interior trim, or in the electronics industry for housings and covers.

PPH

PPH stands for polypropylene homopolymer, a plastic made entirely of pure polypropylene. Polypropylene is one of the most widely used thermoplastics and is used in a wide range of applications due to its versatile properties. PPH plastics are used in many areas such as the manufacture of containers, pipes, packaging materials, medical devices, automotive parts and many other products.

POLYSTYRENE

Polystyrene (PS) is an extremely common thermoplastic, which, due to its versatility and properties is used in a wide range of applications. This material impresses with its robustness, transparency and deformability. Polystyrene can be used in a variety of forms. It is used as a packaging material or in construction.
